Dr. Vicki Souder
I grew up learning first hand the benefits of chiropractic care. Growing up in Davenport I suffered from periods of severe neck pain. My father already knew how a chiropractor could help people suffering from pain and so made sure I had regular visits. Not only did it help my pain, it became my passion.
In 1984 I graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts. And from Western Illinois with a Master of Science. Four years later I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic.
In the years since I’ve graduate I’ve continued to educate myself on the latest techniques and procedures. During an internship program at the Pettibon Institute in St. Cloud, Minnesota I learned how to restore curves using specific techniques and exercises. I then began work at a multi-disciplinary clinic in Appleton and Green Bay. Here I was introduced to chiropractic neurology.
Intrigued by the possibilities of chiropractic neurology I began taking courses at the Carrick Institute. I then studied applied chiropractic neurology with the Erchonia Medical Institute.
Since we’ve opened the Tri-State Clinic of Chiropractic I’ve been able to see the benefits of using low level lasers on a daily basis. And my experience in neurology and bio mechanical training has helped me treat patients in a more broad perspective. It is exciting to deliver great results to patients in Dubuque and the surrounding area.
I’ve also enjoyed my experience as a regular contributor to the Telegraph Herald’s Ask The Experts column. Through it I hoped I’ve helped to educate others on the benefits of chiropractic care.

I was about 22 years old before I was introduced to the benefits of chiropractic care. After my first treatment I realized that a lot of things had caught up with me and that I had to take more responsibility for my health. So impressed was I by my visit that I decided to make it my life's work. It became a passionate obsession of form and function, and optimal well being.
I completed my undergraduate studies at M.A.T.C. in Madison and La Crosse. After this I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Decorate of Chiropractic degree.
Since graduation, I have remained interested in continuing my education in the areas of neurology and structural bio mechanics. I look forward to helping people make positive changes in their spines, their bodies, and their lives.
I'm licensed as a chiropractor in both Wisconsin and Iowa.
We are both proud members of the Dubuque Chamber of Commerce.and The Doctor's Speaker Bureau.
